Board Lamers 2025-2026

Student Association Xenia is directed by the Board, which consists of 7 different functions.

The Board of S.A. Xenia can be recognised by their navy blue suites, silver ties and chokers and silver Xenia medal. The Board of S.A. Xenia has a legislative term of one year. Board Lamers is currently the directive Board of Student Association Xenia.

Gwen Lamers, Chairman

My name is Gwen Lamers, and this year I will be fulfilling the function of Chairman of Student Association Xenia. I am a third-year International Hotel Management student at Breda University of Applied Sciences. In my function, I oversee my fellow Board members and ensure smooth functioning by coordinating and monitoring the overall responsibilities of the Board. Besides that, I represent the Association in interactions with the management of the International Hotel and Facility Academy at BUas, as well as with external relations. Xander Kooijman, Interim Vice-Chairman 

My name is Xander Kooijman, and the second half of this year I will be fulfilling the function of Vice-Chairman of Student Association Xenia. I am a third-year International Hotel Management student at Breda University of Applied Sciences. In my position, I am responsible for the communication between the Board and Sororities & Fraternities and Year clubs. Merel Verhaar, Secretary

My name is Merel Verhaar, and I fulfill the role of Secretary within Student Association Xenia. I am currently in my third year of International Hotel Management at Breda University of Applied Sciences. In the position of Secretary, I am responsible for member administration, internal and external communication, and all correspondence. Djuna de Jong, Treasurer 

My name is Djuna de Jong, and this year I will be fulfilling the function of Treasurer within Student Association Xenia. I am currently in my first year of International Hotel Management at Breda University of Applied Sciences. In the function of Treasurer, I am responsible for all financial parts within our Association. I make sure everything gets paid on time and I oversee all income and expenditure. Anne Aben, Coordinator Operational 

My name is Anne Aben, and this year I will be fulfilling the function of Coordinator Operational within the Board of Student Association Xenia. I am currently in my third year of International Hotel Management at Breda University of Applied Sciences. As Coordinator Operational, I am responsible for the formal and informal events on the Wednesdays. Next to that I am the contact person for the BarCo and EvCo, which means that I ensure that there are people behind the bar, and the right essentials are there to have a fun night every Wednesday. Lott Bakx, Coordinator Communication

My name is Lott Bakx, and the second half of this year I will be fulfilling the function of Coordinator Communication of Student Association Xenia. I am currently in my third year of International Hotel Management at Breda University of Applied Sciences. As Coordinator Communication, I am responsible for almost all external communication such as our different social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook), our website, and all promotional materials. Vera Lenders, Interim Coordinator Public Relations   

My name is Vera Lenders, and the second half of this year I will be fulfilling the function of Coordinator Public Relations of Student Association Xenia. I am currently in my third year of International Hotel Management at Breda University of Applied Sciences. Within this function, I am responsible for ensuring that the relationship with our sponsors is optimised and maintained.
